Dr. Verhaeghe was born and raised in Edmonton. He completed his dentistry degree in 2007 followed by a one-year dental residency program at the University of Alberta. After graduation he went into part-time private practice and began teaching at the School of Dentistry at the University of Alberta where he also received a Master in Education. He later moved to Vancouver where he completed his specialty training in prosthodontics at the University of British Columbia. He received numerous awards as a resident and as an educator and graduated with a Master in Craniofacial Science and a Diploma in Prosthodontics. He is passionate about integrating technology with patient care and has co-authored an electronic interactive multitouch textbook on complete denture prosthodontics.
Dr. Verhaeghe is an assistant professor at the University of Alberta School of Dentistry.
